I cannot tell you the amount of times that I have been stopped by random strangers over the summer about my armour. The compliments that I have received have been unbelievable. My daughter in law has always known how self-conscious I have always been about my sensor and how disappointed I was with the amount of choice to 'disguise' the ugliness of a vital piece of medical equipment. So she purchased a gold Venom piece of armour for me with numerous colour caps to match my outfits. Now my sensor looks like a beautiful piece of jewellery and I show it off proudly. I cant even describe the feeling properly... ive suffered with Body dysmorphia for as long as I can remember & wearing a sensor did NOT help with that. Now, with my Venom, it doesnt feel like im wearing a sensor. It feels like i have a new piece of jewellery or a new piercing; im no longer hiding my arms or covering myself up, I'm PROUD to show off something so beautiful.
